Students Learn Quran, Islamic Values at Dar Al Salam Center in Qatar

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Dar Al Salam Holy Quran Learning Center in Doha, Qatar, enrolled 104 students for its programs which are running in two shifts.

The center is run by Qatar’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs at Abu Hamour

“Under the programs students are learning Holy Quran in seven groups,” Head of Dar Al Salam Holy Quran Learning Center Sheikh Faris Sulaiman said in a statement.

He said that first shift begins after Asr prayer and continues until Maghrib call to prayer and the second shift is held after Maghrib prayer and runs until Isha call to prayer.

“A number of students from the graduates of the center leading prayers in mosques and educating people about Islamic teachings,” said Sheikh Faris.

He said that the center also teaches students Islamic values, recitation and memorizing.

Sheikh Faris asked students to utilize this holy Quran learning opportunity provided by the Ministry of Awqaf across the country free of cost. He also urged them to attend the program punctually.

A teacher of Dar Al Salam Holy Quran Learning Center Hassan Melody, who is affiliated with the center since 2002, said that Quranic circles in state mosques have a positive impact on students’ behavior, morals, and their dealings with those around them.

He urged his students to persevere and be diligent in learning holy Quran because of the importance.

Melody noted the importance of following up with parents in memorizing and communicating with the center so that the student achieves the desired benefit from the center.

He said that it is an educational incubator that saves students’ time and benefits them in teaching, directing and guiding them to what works for them and benefits them.

The teacher, Qutb Habib, said that he has been studying Quranic circles for twenty years, and the Quranic centers are the best benefit for Muslim children and have great benefit as they save their time and return to them benefit and goodness in their treatment of their parents, brothers, friends and teachers.
